Why Portraits?

Portraits are important for those that are living today and to those who will come along in life later. Many times we put off getting fine art portraits because everyday pictures can be taken with many devices.

However, everyday pictures rarely have the distinctive quality and heirloom permanence of fine portraiture.

In life we are guaranteed only the moment we exist in right now. Many times after life events occur, we wish we had taken the effort and time to arrange special portraits of loved ones.

In my own case, my mother passed away nearly 20 years ago, and I do not have a single portrait of her for myself or my children. I encourage all persons to have their portraits created at various times during their lives to create a full family legacy.
